This is my first participation in a forum of any kind, but this one has been so useful I thought it only proper to join. I've made use of many reviews, as well as advice on etching, polishing, sharpening, etc. Most helpful. I live in Northern British Columbia (about a 9 hour drive from the US border) and work as a full-time counsellor in a max correctional center. I'm also a part-time writer. I have a small collection including Hanwei, DelTin, Darksword and even a bronze by Neil Burridge. I first got into swords in the mid 1970's, got out of them for a while, but I'm back. Nice to be here. Seems like a friendly community.

	This is an uneducated post consisting of my opinions formed by my browsing and looking for information. All things stated in the preceding post are subject to both being wrong and opinion changing as I wander along this path of learning. ooops got a little to close to the kinect.

mrstabby: Been thinking the same - but the person that set up the page might not be there anymore and old code gets messy when not maintained. Might be a "repair subscriptions, destroy function X, repair X, destroy Y" situation by now - would mean a total overhaul. Nov 18, 2024 7:29:27 GMT

eastman: problems with the forum software are the cause, not a goal to limit the club. There is an error with the software that messes up activities that require the sending of email. Nov 18, 2024 3:57:36 GMT
