Wes, It has to be one of the underrated gems that Windlass turned out. It is agile and authoritative in the cut, I do not regret the purchase from you one bit. I like it as much as the 15th C. Longsword and would be hard pressed if i could only keep one. Marabunta, I sit cross legged with an oily cloth and dream dreams of conquest, whilst tending to my flock

The Italian is on the heavy side. A finesse weapon it is not, it is an authoritative chopper though. One could easily see taking an arm clean off or notching a leg to the femur very easily with it. The grip is rather slick if you use it bare handed, gloves are mandatory for me while using it.
The St. Michael is lighter and more nimble than the Italian while trading off a bit of the authority in the cut. It is double edged also giving you more options such as back cuts and the like. While it is no slouch at cutting, it lacks the weight and chopping power of the Italian.

Sheesh, that's a lot of metal! I've actually handled a sword you now own ( Sebastien's corn leaf saber. He brought it to my place last year). Very impressive collection. Nice scoot too. I know what you mean about the 'Geezer Glide', lol. I bought the FLHTPI because it has the most comfortable seat and a nice high windshield, lol. ( Although I just ordered an 8" lightly-smoked replacement).

Sebastien traded me out of a Hanwei Wak for his Saber a while back, and I really like it. It is light, quick, and just a real pleasure to fool around on light stuff with. He was a straight up dude to deal with too, no muss no fuss. I bought the FLTR because of the fixed fairing, you feel less wind buffeting because the fairing isn't mounted to the forks and most of my riding is burnin down the freeway at night to and from work. I do 105 miles round trip 5 days a week. The shorter screens are cool, but be sure that it doesn't throw too much wind on the woman or she will get testy!! An 8 inch screen puts the wind right at the top of my head, and gives her a bit too much so I put the full size back on when she rides with me. The screen in the pic is from Klock Werks klockwerkscycles.com/ and it is beaucoup cool, but the woman hates it because of the wind

I am fortunate enough to have a dedicated arms room to store my various implements of destruction in.
Actually it is a spare bedroom, as the wife and I live in a 3 bedroom house with no kids, but arms room sounds better.
