"it has floating glowy bits that are apart of the sword but not attached. Nevermind that I have yet to master the creation of unattached floating glowy bits"
Haha, that is so gold it is going in my sig! Love the podcast, very humorous and extremely informative.
Thwittle, Thwittle, Thwittle!

Site is bookmarked for when I'm not ridiculously tired. Sounds like it'll be a podcast I can actually enjoy, Tinker.
Edit: ended up staying up to give it a listen. Excellent discussion all around, some funny quips as well as addressing some misconceptions and interesting topics. And I LOVED the "Your Horoscope for Today" reference, I should have guessed you were a Weird Al fan.

LOL- you caught me.... yes, weird Al, Tom Leher, Jonathon Coulton... I hope to eventually get a blog-style comments section up on the web-site too... People, iWeb sucks BTW! The least intuitive Mac program that I have ever attempted to use.
Now if people will send in some questions so that I have something to talk about next time...

"I'm going to whittle with my thwittle." Haha! That sounds like a euphemism for something tawdry you'll be banned from the forum for. Considering your adamant aversion towards "bodice daggers," I can only guess what it is. ;-)
All kidding aside, it's great to have you here; don't be a stranger!

Ah, the sword community has come a long way. We now have our own expert podcast *sheds tear. Thanks Mr. Pearce! By the way, I'm digging your book. I especially like the technical aspects of it. I now know what a complex harmonic balance is!

Enjoyed the podcast, will be trying to remember to keep up. Also a good reminder that I've been meaning to look into those books of yours...

Glad that you all are enjoying it! tell your friends, LOL. I'm already plotting next week's show... would sure help if some one would email in a question or two... but then it's only been 'live' since last night so perhaps I am being impatient.

Thank you. I look forward to checking it out. Right now I'm getting ready to run some errands - I need metal polish for my wife's scimitar.

Tinker: "...So I win"
You rock! Love the podcast so far, listening to it as I sharpen my GSOW.
LoL, kinda dating yourself with the "D&D was a brand new game" aren't ya?
There was one problem I was having with the podcast tho is that at random intervals the audio would cut out for a second and come back in. The "data" is still streaming in the background so it's not like it's pausing and buffering, but it's like someone is muting it for a second... randomly. I even went back and relistened to a part a few times that had the muted section and it was remuted at different points each time. I'll mess around with it some because it's probably on my end.
Oh, and I'm not all to familiar with podcasts. Is there a way to download the whole thing and listen to it on my own?
Liam:
Work, work work... It never stops does it?

I seem to be having the same problem that greg is. Do you plan on adding a way to download the cast?

Yes- if you hit the subscribe button it will download the podcast so that you can import it to iTunes or other Mp3 players. Working on getting it up on iTunes but there are some technical issues. Sadly I have no idea what is causing that problem you describe...
