i did not see a button for that, but i did notice that, when i misspelled a word on purpose, it had the traditional red underline.

I'm a natural spell check... if I bother to look. However, I haven't noticed the option either, and it *DOES* save time. Perhaps this should go in the suggestions thread? :?: Just a thought. -Slayer

I"m all for a spell check. It'll keep me from putting quotation marks where there're supposed to be apostrophes... BTW Slayer, diggin' the Fort Minor quote.

I think the wiggly red lines are if you are using Google chrome. as for a spell check generally I normally just keep word open and write my answers in there and then copy and paste them.

There is no spellcheck feature, but if you use google chrome or firefox there are spellchecks in the browsers. I believe Opera has one as well if you enable it.
*Edited to include new information.

yep I never used the old Proboards spell checker but just my firefox checker. It would actually know sword terms.

Shoot I got that there Google tool bar with spell check because my spelling sucks! I'd rather have people think I'm stupid than type and have them know I'm stupid. Though my spelling has improved since I've joined msg. boards.
