Damn jooooo!!! j/k Paul. ;D
The truth is that I was procrastinating while Paul, as the efficient man he is, reviewed this incredible bargain before I even got around to start up a draft.
Anyway, I’ll just throw my two cents in now, Paul already went into great detail of how much this sword kicks ass already. I got my Musashi Rosewood Shirasaya about a month and a half ago, and I must say for a Shirasaya it is very, very beautiful. The rosewood finish Musashi put on it is exquisite, it almost burns me that they didn’t do the same justice for the lone peg that holds it together. I actually think the only complaint that I have about the sword is that it fits so snuggly into the scabbard that it’s hard to sheath and unsheathe. I mean, I do clinches with 60 pound weights in each hand and it’s still hard for me to unsheathe it.
But I’m nit-picking, this blade is really worth the effort of unsheathing. Like any good sword enthusiast would do after gaining the understanding that I won’t need to ship this thing back to trueswords.com, I proceeded to neatly slice apart the cardboard box it came in. Nice clean cuts, folded up nicely into my recycling bin. I can’t say I’ve dared to do much more with this sword than that, but as you can see from Paul’s video in his review that this blade does a lot more than just maim cardboard.
In short, this sword is the pimped out ‘76 El Dorado of cheap swords for only $64 at trueswords.com when you add shipping and taxes into the final number. Thanks everybody for reading, now go check out Paul’s review! He’s got shiny pictures and a video of him turning his backyard into a concentration camp for plastic bottles and bamboo!
