Hi all, I created a tutorial on how to do a basic tsuka-maki for your katana. Enjoy: I omitted the menuki placement because it is pretty self-explanatory, and I omitted the finishing knot because it is too cumbersome to catch clearly on video. Note that this is just a basic method, and there are many other ways to do tsuka-maki. Also note that you should use hishigami if you seek a more permanent wrap, or if you are doing a higher-end sword. Visit Thomas Buck's page for more: pages.prodigy.net/tlbuck/tsuka/tsuka.htmHappy Wrapping!

Nicely done, slav. The hardest part really is just that it's so tedious, but that's where practice comes in, I guess.
+1 and such.
