Hey guys,
I was just given a training katana by a friend for my birthday. My friend has a friend (getting confusing now) that has been doing Kenpo Karate (I believe) her whole life, and this is one of her old training swords. I really wish I had a camera to take a pic, maybe I can get a pic later. Anyway, the blade is extremely solid. I swung it around very carefully a few times, adding more power each time (but not going anywhere near full power) and it didnt budge at all. So Im pretty sure its a real training sword. I do have one problem that I noticed before I swung it. The Tsuba and Habaki are a little loose. Does anyone know how to fix this? I did not see any pins so im not sure if i can take it apart. Anyone know how to resolve this problem?

Hi Randomname, I recommend that you go to the new forums and post your questions there. This old site is seeing very little traffic now. You will have to re-register there.....we all had to. Link to new site = forum.sword-buyers-guide.com/Come join us!
