At the top of the list are a couple of Odin Blades longswords that are scheduled for production in March.

When I first got interested in "real" swords a couple of years ago I was looking for a good gladius. Four fine swords later..... I STILL don't have a gladius, so that's probably next on my list. I don't know which one yet.
Suggestions Rick?

www.albion-swords.com/swords/albion/nextgen/sword-landesknecht-maximilian.htmAlready made a large deposit last year on this one, its supposedly coming out somewhere before Christmas. Next its an Odin custom, need to gather some cash before, but i've been nurtering this project for almost two years, so i cant wait to see it realized. I'm on the verge to order a custom from Huawei, every detail has been covered with Jackie, i,ll place my order probably next week after paying those damn monthly bills By the way, i cant wait to see my and the others winning designs of the DSA contest. Other than those, i cant think of something else...

A girlfriend and a '67 Chevy Impala. ...Oh, we're talking about swords? The Fable Blades Felarof: fableblades.com/Felarof.html and a custom Fable Blade of some sort. I've been thinking something along the lines of a Warring States era jian, or a type XIV... or something with a complex hilt like his latest and greatest (for now, anyways ), the Caspian: fableblades.com/Telmarine.html. Maybe an (euro) Odinblade for good measure. On the Japanese end, a Kensei Fudo Handachi (Here's Marc Ridgeway's review of it, 'cause he's got the best pictures of it that I've seen: /index.cgi?board=swordreviews&action=display&thread=11267 hahahah, he's right above me), I've been digging that one quite a bit lately. Oh, and a forge-folded Dynasty Forge kissaki-moroha-zukuri: www.wiwingtiswordsupply.com/images/maruff.jpg. I consider myself more of a katana guy, but obviously I have some Euro-ish swords at the top of my list. Either way though, I don't have the money for any of that. That includes a gf and the Impala. >_< I kinda just threw this list together. Haven't put that much thought into it.

So many...from cheaper to more expensive: -Hanwei-Tinker Norman -Hanwei-Tinker bare blades for projects -custom guards and pommels (to go with the aforementioned) -Either a Castile with a Crusader guard or a Crusader with a Castile pommel (opinions on this?) -katzbalgers (regular and long version ) -Lutel's Hand and a half sabre I'll stop here for now...

Yeah Albions are expensive. I could get a finish gladius from Mark Morrow custom made for less. You could also get the bare blade from Mark Morrow for around $200 price range and hilt the gladius yourself. You could check it out here www.swordsmith.net/roman.htmlA Fulham by Morrow will be top of my wish list. But right now I am in the process of acquiring another sword so I am pretty much broke Just wanna throw in that KC makes a durable and could be made historically accurate with some hilt and scabbard adjustment.

A new sword from Chris at Scorpion Bows. Either a brass version of the Agamemnon or a custom of the "Mother's Sword" from the Conan movie. - I just prefer the affordable custom swords. Or the entire line of Cobra Steel plus two kukris from KOA...

Has been and probably will remain on the top of the list. I guess if I stopped buying all of the other swords I could have bought this already.

At the very top of my list is a custom jian of my design (still evolving).
Just below the jian are several other swords or ideas:
Albion Xiphos (doesn't currently exist but I'm hopeful) A&A Henry V sword, hollow-ground, hollow pommel plates Albion Reeve A&A custom 15th century sword
