you are correct it is a fantasy interpretation of a "celtic" styled sword. the most accurate one out for a good price is deepeka . though they dont have a good rep for steel, and the sword isnt 100% accurate

Yup... most of what you see listed as a 'Celtic Sword' is really just a fantasy styled sword that never really existed in all those elements in that place and time. They are pretty tho!

The sword you linked is similar to some late bronze age swords, but since it's made of steel it's not accurate at all.

I was referring more to the blade design. It's leaf shaped, I believe, seems well suited for thrusting. I just wasn't sure about what time period they based it off of. But anyway, thanks, gents.

I think this is a Celtic Bronze age sword. Can't remember where I got the image.

one of the many problems with most "celtic" swords is that they have fullers, while some iron age swords did have fullers most were non fullers of double ones, the single ones we see on the one first asked about and even gen 2, besides the hilts being wrong the blades themselfs are wrong , try looking for iran age celt renactment groups online , the kelticos site linked above have some great ideas on how to fix up a deepeka modle , there are also the deltins witch look muchbetter , just not sure how they preform
