As things are - with me hanging in limbo between basic training and tech school - and having only a little netbook (miniature laptop)...and being without photoshop....I figured I was done designing for a while. Instead, while making designs for my own story, I figured out I could keep doing designs. Just with a slightly different style that fits more with my current technical capabilities (PAINT.net). So here is a purely fantasy blade design, for that story of mine, The Blue Wind Saga, covered in my Swords of Mallecoy thread. (and no..I don;t expect anyone to remember any of that stuff, LOL) Kconora: Sword of Kawthar Malak. One-Third Tanto, One-Third Bowie, One-Third pure fantasy, this is the first curved blade I've ever designed. Blade: 12" Handle: 3" Weight: 1lb each This version of Kconora is the result of a Soul Forge. Kconora was destroyed and had to be reforged. But the regular forging of the weapon was intervened by the dragon Smoakphin. He revealed it was the Dragons who had given Angels and Men the lessons of the Forge...and it was by their technique, the Soul Forge, that the ultimate Kcomite sword could be made. Where steel met Dragon's fire, and the wielder reached out with her hand, with her mind, and with her soul, the sword took form in her very palms, the soul of the living steel bonding with the spirit of the warrior herself. Thus, Kconora was reborn.

I like it alot! I'd wanna see just a little more swell at the end of the grip to keep the hand away from the blade... but I really dig the shape.
