Has anyone here used forge-of-the-gods.com/ ? I tried doing a search but it kept timing out on me. They have some crazy good prices, curious what experiences people have had with their website. Thanks! -D *updated link!

There has to be something wrong with this. They're selling at like half the price of anyone else. I've got a bad feeling about them.

VS - that sword is part of CAS Iberia's line. It is not Hanwei material.
Hero - Their prices are similar to Wiwingti's and nobody calls foul on him for his prices. Far as I'm concerned if their prices are good and service is good too then all's good.

I was pretty torn with this website, I really really wanted to buy from swordsofmight or swordnarmory, but they just cant compete with these prices(for my specific items).

Have you looked to see if Wiwingti has the item(s) you're looking for? www.wiwingtiswordsupply.com Marc has some of the best prices in the industry right now. If you PM him on his forums he might even be able to get ahold of what you're looking for even if it's not something he normally sells. Marc's a really great guy. Alternatively, have you checked www.kultofathena.com ? They're a reputable company around these parts as well. Also they have a 45 day money back guarantee if you don't like the sword. Hard to go wrong with them

I'm of the same mind as Hero; something smells a little fishy on their prices. If they're legit, I'm not complaining since they're selling the VA Warder at just under 300$, whereas Kult of Athena, the cheapest, has it for 415$.

They're not legit if they're selling the Warder for that. 20% off MSRP is the lowest allowed on VA stuff, and that's basically half off. I smell something fishy as well... Personally, I'm making a note to steer clear of this place. -Slayer

About the VA Warder - do know for sure that VA products are not allowed to be sold for less than 20% off MSRP? Do they really MAP there products like that or is that what a retailer told you?
Having some experience in retail I can tell you that unless you heard it from VA themselves there is no minimum advertised pricing on their products.
As for pricing wiwingti sells for roughly half of msrp on many (most) of his products. Would you doubt him?
Now I have nothing to do with this seller but frankly don't look a gift horse in the mouth.
Their prices are not the best indication of legitimacy. Were that the case you'd all have to wonder about wiwingti who undercuts everyone.

They are out of Arizona so no taxes for the rest of us. Some places advertise low prices but then really stick it to you at the end of the transaction with shipping cost. Their site says shipping is added last by the shipper they deal with. Anyone looking to make a purchase right now and willing to take the plunge for the good of the community and some karma?

As a consumer i find everything more than perfect, now, i really want to see one of us take the leap of faith with them.

Luckily for the vendors at the local Medieval Faire on the 18th...... they don't.

I'd hate to look like the paranoid tin-foil hat guy in the corner D: Nothing wrong with a healthy dose of paranoia. Like the old saying goes: Just 'cause I'm paranoid doesn't mean nobody's after me. Besides, I have a thing against sites that list discontinued items without actually having them (such as the Cold Steel Chinese broadswords, which I've been dying to get even though I know I never will); it just seems like they don't give a fig about their customers in that respect. dom: Especially since you can get a GED (or Good Enough Diploma) in about 4 hours spread over two days. Sure beats 4 years of the social abuse from your peers, the condescension from your teachers (along with the occasional threat of dismemberment), the mind numbingly boring classwork, with only the occasional fight, bomb threat or riot to liven things up. And then it all gets taken away when you make a tiny little threat against someone who pisses you off by saying you're going to ram a pen through his trachea... I mean, when did that go out the window? ;D But then again, we all probably have nightmares about our high school years.
