I was recently fiddling around with the sword cleaning kit I got for christmas and took apart my musashi shikoza or what ever, only to realize that the tsuka was cracked, So I took it apart to investigate it further to see what I can do. It's an easy enough job to fix the only problem is that I had to un wrap the ito to get at it. can anyone give me some simple solutions on how to re wrap it

You could try printing a copy of this template at an appropriate size & using it.

I have some links on tsukamaki in my Katana Building and Customization Links thread that may help you out. Although, I am not sure you will find too many "simple solutions on how to re-wrap" a tsuka.
