Hi guys After getting Cold Steel's version of the British 1796 LC Saber I've now set my sights on a decent replica of the 1796 HC variant. Weaponedge/Stromlo seem to have quite a good looking version here (10th from the top or thirteenth from the bottom depending on your outlook on life ;D). I have a couple of queries and I could have emailed Rob from stromloswords directly but I though some of the other guys on the forum might share said queries. Do these swords come sharp? If so, would these swords be suitable for pell work or simply light cutting? (if that). If Rob or anyone else could shed some light on the issue it would be very much appreciated.

They are not offered sharp (currently). Yes I think they are suitable for light cutting, but the balance / handling is not as good as originals.
I'll let others jump in with thoughts....
Cheers, Rob
