Chicks with Chainsaws? Gals with Gonnes? Sweets with Schwerts? Cats with Katanas? Ladies and Laquer? Women and Wakizashis? The list goes on and all... I've got it! "SEXY STEEL"

Sweet looking hamon! That is not one that could easily be spotted in pics. good work on tsuka parts, too. I am thinking about forging a knife, would never attempt a sword. Seems like the knife would take longer than I really have time to spend. What is it with the Musashi style tsuba that just makes the blade look"mean"? So everything fits good? I have been around kat's on and off for a few years, but never felt inclined to go past disassembly and reassembly.

Thanks! Everything fits perfectly. And if you didnt notice the caption, mine is probably the most genuine Musashi-tsuba one could ever hope to find. I bought it at the one-and-only Miyamoto Musashi museum in the village of Ohara, Japan: the birthplace of Miyamoto Musashi. I got to see one of his real tsubas, some of his paintings, some genuine katanas designed for Niten, a shrine where one of his bones is "resting", the original Nito-Ryu dojo, and even the tree that Musashi was hung from as a young man. It was quite an experience...and I got 2 Musashi tsubas out of it as souvenirs. They were $5 each btw, I couldnt believe it.

I hoped you guys would get a kick out of the fun tsuba shot. but pay attention to my sword too! Maybe we should start a new photo gallery: "Babes n' Blades." We could turn it into a calendar to sell for charity! ;D Begging your pardon, since I dont want to seem like a perve, but are you the lady in the shot? Or are they a girlfriend/missus? Its just that there seems to be an extreme lack of female sword enthusiasts, and it would be cool to find that they DO exist. Just curious...

the female in the pic is my girlfriend. She is not a sword-enthusiast per-se, but she is an active Kendo player
