I had a VW Rabbit deisel that I called Kirby.........I sold Kirby vacuums out of it.
I have several custom blades that were named by there makers but I have not named any of my production ones.........never felt the desire to.

I have named 2 of the 15+ swords that passed through my hands. First one is EIKOU (glory), I have it for 4-5 years I think. It's named after my first great love. The other is "guy-love" after me and my best friend (if you watch "SCRUBS" you'll understand...) But it's more of a private joke.

I have only named one: fu#$%^&* dull, bottle tossing, warped piece of sh$%%#.... -gaffer LOL, that's funny. ;D +1 I haven't named one per se, tho I have altered names they already have. Albrecht II became Al2, Edward lll became Eddy3 and so on.

I should give my first sword a name...... I've always wanted to get a commission done by a great sword smith, one that will serve as a faily heirloom, personalized for the Cunningham family.
That I'll name "Emet Tzedakah" which is Hebrew for "true, or real, justice_

I sometimes think about naming at least one of my swords "Demon Cleaver", but never thought it through, I have several very welcome frogs in my garden, 3 that are all the same size and indistinguishable from one another are named "Froaky" as in a combination of "Froggy" and "Croak", and one small frog I call "Little" I took in a stray cat, but before I could name him, something ate him, probably those damned coyotes Goldfish outdoors in a garden pond aslo disappear before I can get around to naming them

The only sword I have named is my Darksword contest entry, which Eyal says will be done in december Fledigur an anglicized contraction of Fluer de guerre (sp?) or flower of war, named after its fleur de lis pommel.

Cool question. Never really thought about naming any of them. Think I have too many right now to attempt it. Every time I buy a new truck (always red) I always call it Big Red.

None of my current swords are named but in the past I have owned "Cat", "Shinnng" and "Grimgore" a single hand longsword, a heavy sabre and a hand&1/2 respectively.

^C'mon, man! What about your BKS/SBG design? That definitely deserves a name, IMO. I can't wait to see Fhtagn, though! That thing is epic. I concur with the many other posters that said that they have not yet named a blade, while it does seem like something they would do. My VA304S and Bristol need names... I'll have to come up with something. ;D -Slayer

My CS Gim is named Ling-Ling.
My car is named Silver. Not really original, but fitting. My first car was named Cracker (he was white).
My 1911 is named Revelation because you're going to have one one way or another if I have to draw him on you.
