Though I have not handle it personally, from the hearsay of Roman reenactment community, they are far more accurate than manufacturers such as MRL. I've also heard that the wood used in the scabbard for both swords are slightly better than Deepeeka... Deepeeka really needs to improve on their scabbard though. Another Pompeii gladius from finditarmory, with some adjustment, makes a really affordable gladius for reenactment...but the baldric is no good: ssl.perfora.net/www.finditarmory.com/sess/utn;jsessionid=154c680901bb8f2/shopdata/index.shopscriptIt is also available at SOTW: legvi.tripod.com/armamentarium/id366.htmlBoth comes unsharpened, and needs to be sharpened to get an edge. Not sure if the blade is tempered for cutting, but if one is interested in cutting, KC Pompeii seems pretty good candidate, but the hilt needs to be modified if one is concerned with historical accuracy.
