A good many folkes here have cutting stands, but cutting isn't everything. What do you do when you want other training equipment but limited space and resources.
I started this project to make easily transportable props for a video I'm involved in. I needed several differect pieces of equipment, that come apart for transportation and assemble quickly without power tools as the sites I'm looking to film at won't have electricity. No there is no budget for a portable generator.
I have two cutting stands available so I'm useing those for the bases. One of the stands is at my brother's house and wasn't available for the attached pictures, but you'll get the idea. I fashioned two upright extenders useing plywood and two pieces of the same 4x4 s I used for the uprights on the stands. Cutting 4 strips of 3/4" plywood go around the 4x4 leaving 9" empty at the bottom and several inches empty at the top. One side of the top is 3 3/4' shorter than the other three side.
Then take another peice of the 4x4 to use as a crossbar between the two uprights, attach eyelets to the crossbar 1' from each other.
I padded mine with a moving blankets and over that a heavy canvas dropcloth, to help prevent hurled weapons from bouncing back at the throwers.
I havn't mounted the hurled weapons lumber (another target mounted with hooks going into the eyelets) but you will see a archery target, which can be used for spears and javelins also.
Additionally not built yet is the pell adaptors. Useing similar uprights that have protuberences and padding you can have your own Gladitorial School. minus the gruel
Even those who have different height cutting stands can simply take the measurements into account and make each upright unique so that the crossbar is still level.

As I said the other stand is at my brother's but you should be able to get the idea.
If this is posted in the wrong forum (Mods) don't hesitate to move it. Thanks
