Has anybody ever created a functional version of the swords used by the Galladhrim Archers and Noldor Swordsmen? I'm talking about the Nagamaki-like two-handers with the long grip and deeply curved blades... One of these. If so, could anybody point me in the right direction? If not, anybody have any recommendations as to who might be able to craft a blade like this at a reasonable price?

John Lundemo. Period. He's done it befopre, he can do it again... the last one he made was freaking GORGEOUS! And not only that, but his prices are amazingly cheap for what you get; there's no one even CLOSE to his quality who's so cheap, IMO... I could be wrong, but I doubt it. Here's a link to his site- www.odinblades.comJust shoot him an email, or better yet, give him a call. Trust me, it's worth it. Hope this helps! ;D -Slayer

I agree with Slayer... John has made a couple swords VERY similar to what you are looking for.

I'll give another recommendation for John at Odinblades. You can get an absolute one-of-a-kind REAL sword, not something made to look like a specific type of sword.
I've owned one Odinblade and it was one sweet sword! The current owner stated that he's loved it since the moment he removed it from the shipping box. I'm expecting another Odin in the next few weeks and I'm very excited!
