Pretty good, that. I've seen some pretty exceptional figures etc. tto...but few of them would be terribly appropriate to post here...

Okay. I take it back. I'm not nuts. The guys who put over 200 hours of work into this model is nuts. Making his own micro springs, cutting them and forming them into genuine chainmail appropriate to a figure 1/6 life-size? Impressive. Insane. Impressively insane.

Man, that's impressive. Beautiful work. From his description it sounds like he got obsessed with it and had to finish it. It looks like the product of obsession, that blurs the line of "Craftsmanship" and "Art"

This photo is so life-like, it's creepy. My wife did not believe me when I told her it was a customized action figure: This guys could totally get a job doing minis in Hollywood.

Well, I can honestly say I will never feel so bad about the painting quality of my miniatures compared to the pros - this guy sinks their ship.

Say they are for sale over at that place you mentioned? Freebooter More than you're likely to want to spend for it. Over 200 hours of work went into it according to the guy who made it. Even ignoring the price of materials and giving the guy a measly $10 per hour, that's over 2 grand. So, my guesstimate is he won't part with it for less than 10.

What an astonishingly superb piece of art. It goes to show that you never know where awsomness is going to come from next. It's things like this that remind me of our astounding potential and collective ability as mankind.
Breath taking. Good show!

That's crazy, fantastic work but crazy. Always cool to see someone passionate enough about what they do to put the necessary time into making something as good as it can possibly be.

Take a look at the Hot Toys figures. They're some pretty impressive 1:6 figs as well.

Extremely insane! Making chainmail ring by ring at 1/6th scale? That face is so life-like... creepy but breath-taking at the same time. Incredible.
