I like the idea that the swords go to the extreme of uniqueness. Each one reflects the user and yet has it's own personality so much so that even the blade of the Shikai is unique. I wish there was a way to purchase the tsuba for the swords. So at least you could buy a good quality blade and still have the tsuba to represent say Zaraki Kenpachi's blade.

I don't know if I'd consider any part of Ken's blade a tsuba...but otherwise a fair idea.

Well whatever you call that thing 'tween the blade and the tsuka.

An atrocity. Among other things.

I thought of ripping apart the wallhangers but they're overpriced...where did you see Ichigo's?

Some of them could make interesting reproductions. Sode no Shirayuki would look awesome if done right, and I've always kinda liked Ulquiorra's Murcielago. Plenty of them are inherently unpractical, though. Zabimaru, Tobiume, Wabisuke... Pretty much all of the crazy-looking ones are only good for wallhangers at best, and honestly, I'm not enough of a Bleach fan to bother with that. Anyway, the main problem as I see it is that the Bleach repros that do exist are incredibly ugly and strive too much to emulate the anime look, rather then taking the general idea and applying it to actual Japanese style swords. Hence why the tend to look kinda fake. Actually, while both Zabimaru and Wabisuke (unless it was meant as an executioner's sword) are inherently incapable of being actual swords simply because of their design, but Tobimaru is actually based on the Seven-Branched Sword (Nanatsusaya no Tachi) from Japan, though I can't imagine what purpose the branches would have served if the actual relic was anything more than ceremonial. That aside, I agree completely that most Bleach replicas are hideous; I've seen a couple that look good, but otherwise, they're atrocious, even more so since I'm OCD when it comes to details, so something so little as a a difference of saya or ito color rubs me the wrong way.

On a completely separate side here's another anime's sword. It's definitely made by one of the best master smiths of all times. Boasts Kenshin's reverse blade sword. Descriptions: Blade Material: Carbon Steel Blade HRC1060 HRC OF 1060!!! That's 17.6 times stronger steel then my PPK (60 HRC edge)! This thing could CUT THROUGH A TANK! www.trueswords.com/deluxe-reverse-blade-sword-rurouni-kenshin-sakabato-p-3098.html/sarcasm off. Yeah I wish there were good reproductions of anime swords, in particular sode no shirayuki in bleach as people mentioned could be a beautifully made sword. I wouldn't mind paying a hundred or two for a functional reproduction of it.

Trueswords does have a "battle ready" version of Hitsugaya's sealed form. It looks fairly good, probably similar to the cheaper Musashi brand blades.
