Ok, I know there's been another recent thread dealing with Windlasses Sword of Troy, but we're not talking about that here. I've been reading up on my Homer, Herodotus and Thucidides, and I'm really interested in Mycenae, and the surrounding Bronze Age cultures. Mainly their weapons (big surprise, right?). Where can I read up on the weapons that might have been used during the time of the Trojan War, about 1200 BC? I saw a few museum pieces way back when, and I'm real curious to see if anyone makes modern replicas of Aegean Bronze Age weapons. They could be bronze, or modern materials, are they out there? Lay some knowledge on me!

That fuller is very M.C. Escher. Now, is that something that would have been found near Mycenae, or Tyrins, or Hissarlik? I'm interested in the weapons that Hector and Achillese might have used on each other, if the myths have any truth to em.

It is mycenaean the top one and it is made by an Australian company called manning imperial. The price in my opinion for an historically accurate piece such as this is rather impressive. The blade is only 11 and 1/4 inches long but it is based on an historical museum piece.
