On Saturday I was lucky enough to be able to fight at an SCA event held by my local Shire.

I have been promised that more videos will be e-mailed to me soon, but here is a teaser.

This was filmed during a bear pit warm up session between fighting events.

This photo was taken during the Tourney on the second double kill between me and my opponent. He eventually got me on the 3rd round, but I put up a good fight!

I just noticed your hyperlink.15 secs looks good. You have a good defense. You are tight and closed. You opponent very open with the shield way out. Remember the Moulonee shot we talked about a while ago. His guard just screams out, "hit me with it", lol.

Actually I think any off-side will do the trick too given how wide he is. It looks like you got him with a combination of high off-side,which he blocked and then low on-side to his rib.

So to put it in a scholarly context, you drew him to the high right quadrant and then attacked in the low left quadrant for the kill.

If he had a larger shield I would have gone from his top right down to the bottom left (leg). Really with that shot I saw the body open and adjusted real time. treeslicer: No, it's because proton charge repulsion overwhelms the strong nuclear force due to the increasing nuclear diameter. The nucleus is too fat rather than too heavy.
