I wouldn't say that the 1432 shares anything in common with the 1557 personally, they are completely different so not brothers at all. That's simply not true, they share everything except weight and length. Same oakshott type, same blade form, same distal/profile taper, very similar handling (obviously the 1432 is a two hander, but both are very fast and good cutters/thrusters), equally awesome performance. In fact Gus himself calls the Phat Bastard the 1557's bigger brother. So in short, they're like a europeen daisho and as similar as a single and a two hander can be.

I´ve greatly admired this sword for a long, long time. An Angus Trim and Christian Fletcher 15th Century Side Sword. I believe that it would accomplish all of the OP´s requirements nicely. Damn....I wish I had one. Sorry Cheness I was thinking of another blade, there are way too many blades to keep track of. I would love to see a fishtail pommel on the 1432

"Light bastard sword" was the first thing that came to mind. Something like the Hanwei Tinker Bastard Sword (especially the one with the fuller) or the Albion Mercenary might adequately fit your requirements.

Hanwei Tinker here and Albion Mercenary here. About the Hanwei Tinker, it usually cost much less obtaining from other vendors compared to obtaining it directly from CASIberia.
