I find small jugs uninteresting... I mean, uh.... I'm afraid I might hit the stand. Yeah, that's it. I like variety. ;D

How do you keep the bottle from being knocked off the stand while you thrust at it? Yeah, a proper thrust and a reasonably sharp tip. I've toyed with the idea of putting down some sort of rubber matting, but I have yet to motivate myself to do so. Usually, the jug jumps off the stand with my sword through it, so I just put it back on the stand and keep thrusting.

Coffee-Mate bottles are certainly tougher than average, dull swords or less than good technique will bat them

Avoiding further comment as it will land me in big trouble with a wider assortment of authority-types than I would care to be involved with. <_< Oh...on the notion of cutting water-filled plastic beverage containers...I'm not much good at it, eh Mike?

Milk jugs are fun. 2 liter soda bottles are fun. The neighbors bamboo was fun till he found out.
Just sayin

That's odd. I actually find the thicker bottles easier to cut. Those huge Lipton tea jugs are a blast. Gatorade bottles are also easy. They seem less "bouncy" than the lighter soda bottles.

I generally find that the heavier bottles (.5 gallon or more) are a LOT easier to cut for me. In fact, some of my cleanest/favorite cuts have been on detergent bottles.

Agreed sometimes thicker bottles cut easier, especially if your blade isn't as sharp.
