I like it, but I'm not too sure I'd pay that kind of price for it. A good pair of boots maybe, but not so much a belt, even if it comes with pouch and sheath. But that's just me.

I have not seen it in person yet, but the price point tends to put me off.....as well as the quality of leather out of India.

the belt/pouch looks okay to me. how much would a custom made one of similar construction cost? I'm not so sure about the blade though, blue is not really my color and it looks a little on the clunky side.

I had the scabbard for the Ibelin sword and I'll assume this was about the same quality as what is being offered for the Robin Hood sword. On my Ibelin scabbard, most of the construction was from lower quality leather, epoxy, and rivets. After wearing mine to a couple of events, the belt plaques just starting falling off. The leather started becoming unglued on the chape and locket as well. It just wasn't well made; if I had not gotten it wholesale, I would have sent it back for a refund. To get the same style belt/scabbard, you'd pay more; but you would be getting alot better quality. So, it's a trade off. Give MRL your money and deal with iffy quality or pay more money and get something that you know you'll be happy with. Of course, the other option is to make a scabbard yourself following one of the many tutorials out there. It's really not hard to do and would be far, far less than anything you would buy retail.

Odingaard makes a good point- I'd often wondered about the quality of those KoH scabbards; I'd imagine that the Robin Hood will be more of the same, unless it is made by the same shop that is making their Master line scabbards and swords. Then it might be better, but the price for THAT one is not worth it to me.
