I know nothing about swords. Can anyone tell me what this sword is? It has Vahram Tagirian Constantinople on the side of the blade. I have more photo's that I will post. Any information will be appreciated.

Maybe it's my browser, or web settings, but I see nothing here.

If all else fails, photobucket.com has some resizing software. I've used it in the past.

Kataina:
I'm tempted to say it's a Germanic saber, 18th-19th century, possibly 20th century. This is not my sphere---actually, I don't really have a sphere----but Jonathon Hopkins here is (so far as I can tell) our resident authority on such things. Good job on the pics, but more detailed pics (perhaps using the macro function on your camera?) would make things easier.
