You mean an overall shot of the whole blade? If so, here's the one they sent me when it was finished: And here it is compared to an antique wak of mine: Other pictures are here: s190.photobucket.com/albums/z179/randomnobody/Rawblade%20Naoshi/I think I covered all angles when I got it, but if you want any more let me know.

random and lakemonster a shot like this one.. Yours for some reason look very flat and delicate, not that i dont like it tho, i really do like it XD.. Im aiming more to something like this tho.. Other than the flaw on the huawei pictures, i really fall in love with that one if he made one the same i dont have complaints at all..

Hope this is good enough; had to get really close or the transition was nearly invisible, but here's that specific part, at least. As to the right and left of the pictured, it's all pretty much the same thickness from there on, in both directions. The mune thins very little into the kissaki and as you can see from the shadowy part on the top side, the blade is pretty beefy still. Quite the stout blade.

Very sweet thing sir i really like it, in the other picture it looks very flat and give you the expression that is a very delicated sword .. Other than the shobu style this is my second favorite style of katana so far, i dont like too much the shinogis they dont look to me a very classic sword and i seriously dislike the yokote and the polish on the kissaki, it looks very different there than the rest of the blade, at least thats what i think. I also dislike bo-hi but in this type of sword the top bo-hi give good lucks to the sword and dont run entirely on the blade especially the part on how it ends with a shape like =======\ and after there the blade geometry change so thats why i like the bo-hi in this case..

I added a few more photos of the kissaki to the old album, to try and give a better look. I'm pretty tired of shinogi-zukuri, myself. My favorite is the "naginata-naoshi" wakizashi, which is basically a big, beefy unokubi or kanmuri-otoshi wakizashi, initially cut-down and remounted naginata but some had taken to making them for wak mounts initially. Second favorite is hirazukuri, at least in wakizashi and down. I'd love a moroha tanto, but overall I don't object to shinogi-zukuri katana. It's pretty much the most balanced style, hence its popularity over the others. Though katakiriha is fun stuff, even in kat length. Not a fan of poorly-done bohi, a really good one IS quite nice...but as variety is the spice of life, I wish some of the modern manufacturers would explore the other styles. Hanwei's Kami is an interesting piece, with the horimono at the bottom and the late-starting bohi going the rest of the way, but Cheness' I-forget-the-name was a poor go at double sohi, and their moroha tanto is a lot closer to a kanmuri or unokubi to me. Though I guess, technically, it still qualifies as kissaki-moroha....

Wonder how that otoshi would look like without the hi and diamond shape all the way down to the habaki, a true moroha zukuri (not kissaki moroha zukuri). Just saw an antique like that. I think I will order one and see.

Oh yeah... really think you'll dig it.
I dont have much of a grasp on the Japanese terms yet.... but it seems like the hamon type with their blades looks like a loose version of Sanbon Sugi (three cedars)

A sanbon-sugi has every third wave raised above the other two, a variety of gunome. I think this one would be called a toran (irregular) hamon.
