I went to JordanCon in Atlanta on Saturday to help with an SCA demo and then discuss some business prospects......and ran into a Trolloc. Attachments:

Trueswordsman; Looks like you must have vanquished him, or you wouldn't be posting now . By the way the swords that I purchased from Arms of Valor (Windlass type XIV, Gen2 12th Century, Gen2 Henry V etc.) are all valued members of my collection and I'd like to thank you for the quick and courteous service and for going out of your way to take care of my sword needs. Always a pleasure. Jim

Damn Trollocs! I should know better by now than to let them go anywhere without a leash, but sometimes I just feel so sorry for them......
Bad Trolloc, Bad Trolloc, no human stew for you tonight.

Ah SCA demos...did you guys run a fantasy vs realty hero fight?
Scenerio 1) like in the movies, hero beats 20 enemies who line up to get whacked.
Scenerio 2) is what would happen if the hero tried that in real life...which is get clubbed like a baby seal.
Scenerio 3) is what would REALLY happen...aka hero runs for his life.
Another favorite thing we run around here is whack a knight. You give people a shield and rattan sword, the SCA folks get a foam sword and you let people try it out so to speak. And of course you go easy.

No Cold Napalm we had very little space so just did some round robin fighting with an announcer explaining what we were doing and the rules. Yes, Trollocs are not as bad as they are made out to be. This one turned out to be friendly after he finished taking a few bites out of me. Attachments:
