A lot of those guys are really good - footwork, blade control, good use of meisterhau; others were far less impressive.
I enjoyed it.

Thanks, Tsafa. That is one to watch frequently. MAN! That makes me wish I had time and opportunity to train! Ah well... Life's priorities and all.

Yeah those guys with the greenshirts really know thier stuff. They are technicly A1. There is one move I saw on there that I am very fond of and that I have not seen in any manual. It is near the end. One guy attacks by half swording overhead. The other guy counters by also halfswording and placing the tip of his blade between the other guys forearm and his own sword. He then uses his better leverage to flip him over.
There is a lot of really cool stuff showing up on you-tube. Here is another vid form the same guys.
I think they are getting a little crazy here because they have really picked up the pace and are not using any protective gear, not evern their head. There is a guy in my area who got a nice seven inch scare down his face from an allumum blunt for not using a fencing mask. I don't care how good you are, accidents happen. All you need is one person to understep or overstep a few inches and that steel is in you face. Please guys use masks and a gorget. We want to attract more people to our sport/hobbie, not scare them away.
Here is an example of two guys training the right way.

Yep, those guys know their stuff. I like in the theatrical vid how they showed the use of the hilt as an impact weapon, while holding the sword by the blade, a part of the Liechtenauer tradition that isn't as commonly seen (something I didn't even realize until I read Christian Tobler's German Longsword book).

These are nice and very interesting, but, with all due respect, does not really replace an in person instructor. These are very useful for reinforcing what one's instructor teaches.
If I had an instructor (which I would love to find), I would definately utilize these videos with him or her.
