just want to know if the hilt parts are stainless or not. i would like to age this sword when i get it. but only if it has regular steel parts.

my brother's H/T Viking is hanging on my wall... but I have no idea if the pommel and guard are stainless...

I'm not at home to try anything with fittings, I study in another town and I am at home only on weekends, but last time I tried, some parts were magnetic, some not. Why, I have no idea...
