I saw these are still in stock at Arms of Valor. I was wondering if anybody had any experience with this blade since the 2007 batch with the heat treating issues.
I just bought a Gen 2 Knight's Riding sword at Kult of Athena, and I am VERY impressed with the fit, finish, and FUNCTION of this terrific little sword!
Any High Elven owners out there that could chime in? I am a huge fan of the Hobbit in particular, and also fond of the Lord of the Rings. I haven't gotten through the Silmarillion yet, but plan on doing so some day.
I like, nay...love functional fantasy swords! I really like to handle a sword before I buy it though. Buying sight unseen has been hit or miss for me, so spending the better part of 300 on this sword...I'd like to get some feedback from owners!
I contacted arms of valor a few days ago and waiting to hear back on a few questions.
Thanks!

It sure is pretty. I love brass hilt parts Glaciersteel has one, and I'm sure he loves it. There's a review somewhere. I havent started the Silmarillion yet, though I have it in my drawer waiting on the queue.

I have this sword. I like it but its a bit on the heavy side. I can handle it one handed if necessary but it much easier with two hands. Haven't done any cutting with it yet as I've been dealing with some health issues since I got it. Once I get a chance to try it out I'll let you know how it went.
