Last episode of season one premieres tonight! Given the way things have built up so far, and the fact that Spartacus' last words of the second to last episode were "Kill them all" I anticipate much stabby, slashy goodness.
"How many of them would you kill to get your wife back?" "I would kill them all."
"How can we escape from Batiatus and all the Romans?" "I see only one way. Kill them all."
I may be going out on a limb here, but I am anticipating "killing them all" to be a recurrent theme in tonight's episode.

You don't have to have STARZ to watch it. There are URLs all over the internet re-running episodes. I personally watch it on NetFlix via streaming in HD on my computer linked to my flat screen. $8.99/month and you can watch all the streaming TV shows and movies you can handle in addition to getting the DVDs in the mail. And last night's episode f*cking rocked; bloody as hell, as promised. That tied it up quite nicely for Season 2...now the wait begins.

I'll echo Odingaard: Netflix.com, if you have the streaming option, offers the whole first season up! Who knows how long it will last? I missed the premiere---the wife and I decided to have our annual rumble, with consequent overconsumption of gin on my part, but tonight, ah, tonight-----we will KILL THEM ALL!

Got sick with the flu and couldn't sleep last night so I pulled up the last five episodes from Starz on demand (HD no less). A good watch, lots of sex and violence and a decent storyline. Lots of cool gladii don't hurt either. If someone had told me I'd watch this show after the first ten minutes of the first episode I'da said their full of semprini. They really turned it around, still no "Rome" but definately worth watching.

Uh... sorry to hear about the fight and the subsaquent drinking... Our fights are more properly expressed as "tiffs"---the kind of friction that is inevitable in any relationship, expressed, at times, as if tectonic plates were grinding against each other. Bearing in mind that the Richter scale is logarithmic, this was a 2.0, or maybe a 2.1. I prefer my drama up on the big screen, where, after a very bloody battle, everyone stands up, shakes hands, and says, "That was a hell of a take." We are all better today, and next year, about this time, we will doubtless have another little tiff.

Hm... Finally got around to watching the first epp of Spartacus... and I have to say, I am VERY unimpressed. The oppressive swearing is annoying... I'm not saying I'm against some nasty language, but it is just overused here... and the amazingly cheesy digital blood spurting everywhere and still framed action moments are beyond corny. I truly hope it gets better, as others have said... I now see how RicWilly turned it off after 10 minutes, it was BAD... I had to force myself to watch it.

Weird orginization on that site... hard to figure out the order. You have to write title word in the form of example Spartacus: Blood and Sand S01E01 and Spartacus: Blood and Sand S01E02 etc. It should make it easier.. And trust me shadowhowler its getting lots better when it really start.

And trust me shadowhowler its getting lots better when it really start. I really hope your right, it could not get much worse... Enough people here have said it gets better that I will keep watching and hope that it does... how many epp's does it take for it to stop sucking so hard?

I was not sure that I would make it a requirement to watch for myself until after I seen "Shadow Games" (Episode 5). After that installment, I was hooked.

Well, I have seen epp's 1 and 2 now... and 2 was better then one by a fair margin... so if it is going to contenue to get better then I can see it getting good. If 2 was as bad or worse then 1 I don't think I could hang in there...
