Hi, i'm mixcow and i only just joined the forum, in my first attempt to contribute something perhaps kind of helpful, I have found that the strongblades site and an australian ebay retailer called 'the medieval shoppe' stock almost the exact same kind of blade. (if this has already been done before, my bad, if it's a useless topic, my bad, also,i put this in general because the manafacturer board is full of posts by actual manafacturers, which scared me off =[)
Here are some links. But before that id just like to ask : Does this mean that the medieval shoppe purchases these swords from strongblades or strongblade's manafacturer? Is it the actual manafacturer? I don't know, i just wish to provide something partially constructive. (If strongblades or medieval shoppe representatives in the forum have problems with this i am truly sorry) [jesus im coming off as a nervous wreck]
Or even, is the medieval shoppe the hitherto unmentioned manafacturer of Strongblades? My sense of Aussie pride wishes it were so =] (hoping thats not coming off as racist, and hoping this isnt coming off as too politically correct) - A quote from the 15th century Scottish single sword hand forged infobox: "In March 2009, a noted Australian sword expert dismantled and tested one of our standard eBay swords. He wrote: “I was very impressed with its flex- it almost bends to 90 degrees and snaps back without deforming.” - a quote i remember, weirdly enough, from a SBG review? - probably just a coincidence, flex impressions arent taht uncommon
Or is it merely a case of quoting popular, historically accurate (kinda? hard for me to judge) blade styles.
Without meaning to sound like a conspiracy theorist; I'll leave it to you to decide.
