I can't link back to the SBG because of the whole copyright deal, but someone has posted Arn The Templar and Arn 2 - The Kingdom at Road's End on YouTube in their entirety. They have been up there a year, so I don't know why YouTube has not removed them yet. I'm just posting this because I am so outraged that someone would rip these very hard to find movies and put them on the Internet. Shame on them for doing such...

I watched all of it early this morning, and to be honest, I totally loved it. I will do my damnest to find all of it on DVD somewhere here stateside. While it lacks in alot of battle scenes, it makes up for in the story of the human condition, representation of medieval cultures, overall historic authenticity, the politics, and the religious intrigue. There was enough swordplay and battle to season it well, but not overdo it or take away from the plot. Arn and Kingdom of Heaven cover a similar time span. It's almost like it's just a different viewpoint as far as the Crusades portion goes; because nothing in Arn conflicts with KoH to where they could not have ran concurrently. I could have seen Orlando Bloom or Liam Neeson in the background, and thought nothing of it. Oh, and BTW, damn those YouTube pirates!

Well, it isn't available in the USA, sooooo......somebody decided to change that. Not right of course, but you can understand the motivation. If the bloody thing was more widely available, there would be less pirating.

I wrote the production company to see about a U.S. release and/or DVD; so far the only copies out there are available in Europe. Hopefully, the more people who write them, the more they might be convinced to release officially it in the U.S.. Here's the website: www.arnmovie.com/. . . of course, if anyone finds any DVD's stateside and translated into English, er, feel free to let me know via PM so I can make sure I tell them that piracy is a bad idea! ;D --Edward
