Wow have I lost track of time! I have been meaning to ask can you just show up for the days of Sat. and Sun. In other words, I don't live to far away and would go home at the end of each day. Though I may have to work Sat.

That is probably a question best answered by Matt or Kerry. Maybe PM Matt to let him know what you want to do and get a confirmation. I hope to see you there Sparky.

This is a great idea, to bad I didn't think of it! But I have now remedied this situation. ;D Thanks for thinking for me. Sometimes I wonder about myself.

Once we start depending on our wives to do our thinking we kind of get out of practice huh.

Luckily my wife was in the room to tell me what to type or I probably would have just stared at the screen wondering what you should do as well. Helped me spell all the big words to.

Okay my Internet skills must suck! I tried to find BKS' location on their web site, but their address is not there. So I Goggled it and up comes: Baltimore Knife and Sword Company. The Oella Mill-. 40 Oella Avenue. Ellicott City, MD 21043. 410-366-2800. Piece of cake right? Just Goggle Map it and I'm on my way. Noooo, spent way to much time in Ellicott City. That little town has flooding issues and little tiny roads, I drive a Ford F-350 crew cab with a 9' bed, tiny roads. So I missed it today , but here's to tomorrow, after I e-mail them for directions. ;D Should have done that in the first place, except I waited till the last minuet.

I hope you made it there Sparky.
As much as I was looking forward to it, I didn't make it myself. Life conspired against me so I am looking forward to stories and pics from the lucky attendees.

I hope you made it there Sparky. As much as I was looking forward to it, I didn't make it myself. Life conspired against me so I am looking forward to stories and pics from the lucky attendees. There was a little conspiracy against me too, but with Matt's help I got there Sunday. After only being there one day I realize that next year......... I'm gonna make the whole darn thing! ;D What a really good time I had there. The knowledge that was walking around was incredible. And everyone was so nice, even my stupidest question was answered like it was the most important question they got. And Matt and Kerry's equipment........ WOW........ it was wild watching some of them when they were turned on. Between the oiling and the smoke/water rolling out of the motors it made it very fun to watch. Once they warmed up though those machines that sit out in the rain and snow worked great! ;D Personality that's what they got! If my arthritis wasn't so bad (rained a lot ) I could have forged steel! Hands on baby, that would have been even cooler. Though I did learn what else a forge is good for..... warming your cold knuckles! ;D They also had a raffle at the end of the day...... I won two sword blades! ;D Man 45 years of not winning anything and now it's like every time I turn around I''m winning something..... not really but it sure feels that way. Wow is all I can say! If you can make it next year I'd highly recommend it. To many pictures so I'll link the album. ;D s458.photobucket.com/albums/qq301/1sparky2/BKS%20Hammer%20In/ ;D

It's great to hear that you had a good time Sparky. I found that it is hard to convey how it feels to be around Matt and Kerry and the aura of their shop. Add to that all of the rest of the gang that was there and the theme of the event and it was truly something to experience.
