Windlass makes a great one, The German falchion. At reliks it will cost a little bit under $150 with the sbg discount.
Hope I help, mate.

I'm $aving up for the Italian Falchion - also by Windlass, incidentally. Here's the pic: It's available in ByTheSwordInc.com, Reliks or Aurorahistory... @210usd.. Hope it's helpful :-)

AoV has the Italian Falchion in stock for $195, and with the SBG discount it would only be $175.50.

A Falchion is somewhat of an Inigma to me. I have a good deal of knowlege of most swords but not this one. I don't think it nearly gets enough attention. It would be nice if someone with knowleger could put together a historical post on Falchion's. See!!! I'm not the smart ass know it all I like to think I am lol

You can also look at the Sword of St Michael by Windlass. It is based on a painting showing St Micheal with a falchion. The difference of this piece is that it is double edged. I own this sword, it is great. Take a look.

Please don't say 'Wow cool'.. It reminds me of the 100 odd posts by that spammer who started this thread (shudder - this was his only sensible post for those of you who don't know what on earth I am talking about, after that he deteroriated rapidly and started adding 'wow cool' to each and every thread, got smited several times and then I banned him from the forum). Hmm, Maybe I should prohibit 'Wow cool' as another forum rule... Sorry, just being silly now. But to get back on topic, personally I think the Italian Falcion is aestehtically head and shoulders better than the Archer one, which is pretty bland and neither here nor there. And indeed, with the SBG discount that trueswordsman mentioned, there is only around $25 difference price wise between them at their lowest price, but for that extra $25 you seem to get a whole lot more... My $0.02 anyway...

Personally I think that the archer's falchion has mch more personality and charm than the italian one. The italian flachion just looks plain tacky to me...too heavy-bladed, too much elaborate hilt design...
The german falchion got great reviews at myarmoury as well, and you know how they are all into albions and A&A's!
*pats paul on the back* don't worry, in half a year, this will only be a bad memory ;D

Oops... pardon me!! 'Wow, cool' was not wat I would usu. say but I happen 2 b sleepy and hit the 'Post Reply' button too quickly.. Hahaha... I somewhat favours the Italian Falchion more... esp. the scabbard -- rather unique from the other Windlass scabbards which tend to be rather 'predictive'... What concerns me a little bit is the blade.... doesn't quite look like a falchion blade (to me) actually... may be the absence of the 'clip' at the foible...
