Wow that is cool. I can see why you desire it so much. Unfortunately I don't know of anywhere for you to get one. Sorry. I'll keep my eye out and if I see anything I'll let you know.

280 AUS? What is that American? I'm going to go with my not quite accurate 2 US per Pound and say that looks like about $300 US. That's a hell of a price for a complete helm. If it's any good for use. If it's just a costume piece, that's pricey. Might not even be worth taking the pics to a custom armoursmith to have one made just for you at that price. Certainly not if it is anywhere near the right size and shape for your head.
I know of about half a dozen armourers who would make one for you. But you won't be looking at $300 US. And that's not even thinking about shipping yet. But they are SCA armourers, so their stuff is made to be used. tsafa could probably point out a few others that may have production models. Or Trueswordsman. Any of us SCA guys will know at least 1 armourer who can help you out. But again, the price will go up a good bit, most likely.

He he changed my mind about it, will just stick to a hanwei one, maybe the vasalgarde 14g one, get some arm and leg splints should look vendel appropriate , I'm getting a taste for aspects of the vendel period in the viking age/migration period.
