Not sure where else to post this, but here goes.
I am looking for details on how an Indo-Persian baldric or sword belt is constructed, especially for hanging a tulwar on.
I am slowly putting together an Indo-Persian "kit, and so far I have a chain hauberk (butted mail), two tulwars (I bought the tegha-style one from Trajan, which I have subsequently named "Hassan" - as in "HASSAN CHOP!!!" ;D), and I have a dhal and kulah khud on the way, but thus far I have found no matching belts or baldrics.

Good luck on this one. That region/time-period isn't too popular within the SCA or other recreation or reenactment groups I know of in the US. You might end up needing to break open some good old library books on the subject and take a best guess from the pics. Or take pics of them at a museum.

I did a quick scan for images on the internet and came up pretty empty. There are many artistic interpetations of Indo-Persian warriors but no closeups on the gear and harness.
You might be better off checking armor images in museums. Many times that put a full harness on the manakin.
If you do find some good pics, please post them.
