I've heard that Windlass makes all their swords diamond cross section, then hollows out a fuller if one is needed, making the blades tip thicker than the area behind it. Is this true for the Leuterit sword as well?

I didn't notice that on a Leuterit although it does have diamond profile tip. If it is slightly thicker it's not really visible so not important. Except that it's a very fine sword.

I used to have one and I don't think the tip was thicker. I agree that it was a very nice sword. I only got rid of it because I was eliminating the non-sharps from my collection at the time and now I regret having parted with it.

The way I would eliminate non-sharps is by sharpening them, especially with really good swords, because often with a proper edge non-sharps handle much better.

I don't really notice it on mine either.

Bloodwraith, yeah, I know I should've kept it and sharpened it but I had never done so before and was afraid of screwing it up. It was such a nice sword I just decided I would get rid of it and maybe pick up another someday and order it sharpened.
