Culling the herd

Greetings!
I recently have found myself with more swords than I have wall-space for, and am culling my herd, so to speak.
What difficult decisions, not only to get rid of some of my precious collection, but to decide which should go and which should stay .
So, here is the breakdown:
The Paul Chen Practical Katana stays. It was my first. It still cuts like a razor. I hate the fake same and poor itomaki, but don't we all look back on our first loves with a mixture of nostalgia and regret?
The Masahiro Bamboo stays. I mean, this model is famous. I can't get rid of it, 'cause the original is becoming so scarce I don't think I could replace it if I tried.
The Cheness Ichi Maru stays. Got it courtesy of Paul here at SBG. 'Nuff said. ;D
The Musashi Bamboo stays. Read my review in the reviews forum to find out why. ;D
The Musashi Shizoku is being gifted to my best friend. Way back we used to always exchange knives on our birthdays (his in May and mine in June). I want to revive that custom, after a fashion. I think he will enjoy this sturdy little sword.
The Cheness Tenchi is being sold. This is the one I had the most trepidation about. I really wanted to love this sword - but I have had problems with the fittings, including a cracked tsuka, that have kept it sitting on my shelf unused for a year. I underwent a tsuka carving, but my lack of skill meant it went unfinished. Someday I will own a 9260 blade again (I kind of like that Oniyuri ;D), but this one was not meant to be. The buyer states he will be using it for a custom DYI project. I am interested to see how it turns out.
Anyway, that is the lowdown on my sword liquidation. Have any of you given up precious blades lately, and how do you decide which ones will go?
Peace,
Mike
