Like the title says, does anyone know when we can expect to see the Scott Rodell designed dao hit the shelves? In March I'm buying the Hanwei Tinker longsword then my sword fund starts growing again. I'm pretty sure I want a dao and I'm going back and forth on maybe that one if it's available or possibly getting a custom from Jin Shi. Just curious if anyone knows when we can expect to see the Rodell dao.

I was going to come here and answer my own question. I'm not a believer in signs and portents but this makes me wonder if I shouldn't spend a little more time with my European blade heritage...

hey Slack, I'm working on that combined CSA/WMA form maybe we should pow wow I'm not too sure what use I'd be to you, I'm half way through "Fighting With The German Longsword" and haven't even begun to learn anything about CSA yet, but I've got plenty of free time and an internet connection so if I can do anything at all, I'm ready to help out.

Sorry to bring up this old thread but I'm having my doubts that the dao will come in September. I mean there were news and pictures of the Cutting Jian months before it hit the market. I guess I'm just getting impatient but I've been waiting years to get a nice dao!
