For the second year in a row I visited BKS. My wife and I spent a few hours with Matt, Kerry was in Chicago on business. We looked at several blades and Matt was once again able to tempt me with some of them. I had already purchased the two SBG/BKS blades and hoped to pick them up. I bought three more while there. My SBG Straight blade was completed and I love it. The grip is of wood and antler and Matt's design. The leaf blade still wasn't ready yet so I am really looking forward to its completion. Matt may do something extra with the grip on this one as well......I am trusting his aesthetic sense on this like on the straight blade. I am counting on Matt to add some pics here so that you folks can see what I bought.
It was a nice visit and made for a great day for my wife and I. We brought home some new treasures and I am already looking forward to next year around this time. There is also the Hammer-in coming up in March but I will leave that for Matt and Kerry to announce.

Sparky, keep yours ears open for the hammer-in. It will be here soon and Matt will be announcing the particulars here. It's a good time and you can't help but rub shoulders with some great folks and learn something while your at it.
