Guys:
As the new year rolls around, I'd like to thank everyone at the SBG forum for their help and their courtesy. You share your knowledge, experience, and quirkiness with a rank amateur (that would be me), and I deeply appreciate it.
I won't say this is the best forum out there, but it's way up there in terms of courtesy and helpfulness.
RicWilly, TomK, Odingaard . . . dang I'd keep on listing people, but I know I'd leave someone out, so I'll just say thanks again.
In addition to the 'plain ol' regular forumites' I'd like to throw a thank you out to our manufacturers and vendors. Sonny Suttles, Trueswordsman, Tinker, Marc from Wiwingti and everyone else---you guys are doing great work, producing great swords. I applaud your passion, your innovation, and, again, your courtesy and friendliness.
A very special thank you to Paul Southren and his family for putting together SBG and the forum.
You guys rock.

You forgot to mention yourself, KC. You're undoubtably one of the most friendly and entertaining members to grace this fine forum. I second your post... SBG is truely a great place. -Slayer

people like RicWilly, Odingaard, Shooter Mike and myself were all new here not long ago (look at the joined dates) and we have all learned tons and tons of stuff from the wonderful people who gather here. some of use (not me) were founding members but I can tell you that the same welcoming and awesome acceptance that greated me when I joined SBG is being continued by all you wonderful guys and gals. so I want to thank all you new guys and gals who are keeping the forum alive and on the right track. it is people like YOU that make this forum work Ric and Odin, and Mike and I are just a really small part of it all. without you folk this forum would have dried up and died a long time ago
so, thank YOU! you people ROCK!

And thank you, KC... It's been a pleasure to both learn and contribute from the SBG over the years. If I were Elvis, I would write a song about each and every one of you guys.

Hey, what would I do without my all time favorite website Except probably waste money on cheap wall hangers, that is.

Thanks Guys ;D I have learned so much here, had a lot of myths busted, lost interest in wall hangers, and only buy good swords (But I am still going to cut bottles with my Samurai 3000 sword ) I spend way more time here than I do on Facebook ;D
