I wasn't sure where to put this thread but here goes.Chris or Archer from the forum owner of Scorpion knives made this for me.All I have right now are the pictures he sent me it's in the mail and should get here next week,I'm hoping Tuesday. It's kind of a copy of the deathdealers axe that I have always wanted.I got with Chris and discussed how it could be done but a bit different in construction.I really wanted more than anything the blade shape and size and from what I see it came out amazing and at a price a hell of a lot better than the original. The little i know is the blade is antiqued and the edge is 14 inchs overall, total length is around 47 inch's and it weight's between 9 or 10 lbs I originally started talking to him about doing this about 8 months ago and when I finally got the wife's go ahead(it's Christmas and she found the cash for it) it took him about 2.5 weeks to finish it. Well here's the few pictures I have I cant wait to hold it,swing it and do a review. The last picture is Chris if anybody wondered what he looked like (nice guy)it's shows it is one big a-s axe. Dam I cant wait till it gets here. I believe Chris is going to put more about it in the manufactures section today also. Well it is sort of like opening up a christmas present just pictuures for now and I waited till Chriistmas morning.

I like a lot of his stuff and his axes are cool,he's supposted to be redoing his website this weekend,he's getting a lot more items on their lately.I just like the option of designing/drawing something and having him make what you want.He seems to have a talent for working with metal and wood with pretty decent pricing.I might have to put a picture of my axe in the thread about troll dispatching.

Man that thing is NICE! I'm a huge Frazetta fan and love Deathdealer. It looks great and no doubt cheaper than Albion/filmswords version. Well done!

His prices have always been reasonable for the work that he does. between here and Bladeforums, no one can touch Archers prices and he is continually trying new stuff. Oh yeah, I am VERY envious of your Axe my friend, VERY envious

WHOA, that is sweet!!! I would love to have one of those, but knowing me I'd want to throw it and bust the handle. That thing would be hell on horseback.

Check the manufactures and vendors talk part of the forum he has all the info/spec's and the cost (I think it's real inexpensive for something that size and quality). It looks like a lot of work to make one.He did mention to me he did want to charge more but with the economy being what it is he'd rather have people being able to afford it. Personally I think that's a decent thing to do those axe's (my opinion) could go for around four to six hundred easy.Especially considering the filmswords one went up to $2300.00.

Well it just showed up in a rather large box. It would be to hard to do a review yet as I'm still in awe of it. so far all i have noticed is it's top heavy but maybe I'll have to get used to it. I was on the website with the real death dealer axe and helmet pictures and although i dig Frazetta i don't want to have exact death dealer garb, just in the spirit of. I took a few pictures of my helmet and axe like the real page.My photography stinks but you get the idea if you know what the film swords page looks like.
