Greetings,
I recently bought the $100 Masahiro Shadow Warrior Sword as reviewed on this site to start getting into the hobby.
I've read a lot about maintaining the blade, and it definitely performs well for what I paid. The problem is that after one day of use, the tang now wobbles inside the tsuka whenever I shake the blade back and forth. I'm afraid this will slowly damage the inside of the tsuka and have since shelved the blade for the time being.
I'm not asking exactly how to fix this, but any pointers for materials or guides to start taking it apart would be much appreciated. It's a pretty cheap blade, so I'm not worried about ruining it. I just want to get some experience with repairs before I continue onto another sword someday.
Thanks for any comments!

This can be caused by two things.
The opening for the nakago inside of the tsuka could have been routed too big (which is often the case), OR the tsuka is now cracked (which is also often the case). If the inside has had too much material removed, then some shims are all that is needed. If the tsuka is cracked...well...yeah. Hope it's the first.
