Quite frankly I'm not Gus but seriously if I found out anyone had given my personal details to random person on the internet, whether they had business with me or not, I'd be severely pissed off.

If i was selling low volume couple of hundred dollars things on the internet i would make myself easier to reach.

Enkidu, I understand your point and I think I would too but it is a personal choice and he has made his. you can bet though, that I would have a personal line that my customers would never know of and I would not want that info put out publically or to my customers who may request it on a forum, but yeah, I would have a working business line myself.

Can't really argue there, Gus' customer service seems to leave somewhat to be desired, but I think you may be mistaken about his wares. What couple of hundred dollar swords have YOU seen that he's made himself? I'd like to get my hands on one. Far as I know, there's not a single sword from his hands that goes for less than $400.

Well, yeah, new. I got my first Atrim for just a tad over $200 second hand. That's the way to go, no waiting either.

Lees Armoury is about the only place left that I know of for less expensive Atrims, other than maybe one on the used market. I see that he still has three, but they are the older models. I bought one from there a year ago or so for a little over $200. The DD1202 at $315 looks pretty nice to me as a basis for a DIY. I discovered that Lees Armoury will also discuss the price. www.leesarmoury.com/at.htm

400 or 500 is still a couple of hundreds for me. His average two handers lately run at 550$. I have two Atrims at home, i really like what he does, but there has been a couple of cases where he has been exeptionaly hard to reach and being as good as he is making swords doesnt make his CS better. I only think we should support Ghost in its claim as SBG members, thats all. No hard feelings there guys

Perhaps, but everywhere else in the world, the term couple = 2; maybe you could've said 'few' and that would've made sense. Either way, I see your point and I already support ghost- he has THE right to get what he paid for.

Agreed on Ghostwalkers right to pursue resolution as he sees fit. The customer service on this deal speaks for itself.

lol, funny that you mentionned ''everywhere in the world '' Cause here we have a popular expression by which ''couple'' also means a few, but its in french and was totally not revelent here, you were right to correct me But even in french, except for the use of this expression, couple also means two.

Thanks for your support, folks.
Yeah, the customer service in this matter hasn't been good, but it wasn't my intention to bash Gus. Just wanted to see if any forum member had a better way to reach him than what e-mail addresses I had been using.
Perhaps a new thread on customer expectations and seller expectations might make for an interesting conversation.
On a different note....my new Sword of Arn arrived! Pics soon. Ordered it during the last Albion sale. Might have to pick up the dagger to go with it next time.

I would like to see pics of it,i like that one. Personally I picked up a Gaddjalth during that last sale, but it wont be here until next year. The prices were just what i was ready to pay for an Albion, always though they were a tad too costly.
