funny you should mention that have you read my 1557 review? Ah, but he didn't ask if you were worried you'd throw the sword over the railing. ;D

thank you Kilted, don't let me stop you from posting a review. I'm sure you'll be able to do a really good one.
as for getting an ATrim sword, if you can in any way afford it you should do so. they are quite unlike anything else I have handled. we are getting some really good swords in the sub$300 range now days but they still don't top an ATrim. some of them come pretty close. I have to admit my EMSHS is close to handling like the Antioch but there is a definite difference: the EMSHS just doesn't change direction as smoothly and I can feel more stress on my body from whipping it about while the Antioch going through the same moves feels smooth and easy, no stress, no strain. the Antioch is easier to accelerate and stop. though if you didn't have a scale you'd probably think the EMSHS was lighter but you'd still prefer the Antioch, when they are in fact the same weight, length, and POB. I think the comperison between the Antioch and my EMSHS is a very interesting and telling comparison that shows just how well designed ATrims are. it is hard to explain in words though. it also tells us just how well designed the EMSHS is too. I mean for a sub $300 sword to even be mentioned in the same breath as an ATrim is fantastic. I would really like to compare my EMSHS to a standard one.

oh yes, big nasty mean scary rocks. very unfriendly. but I was careful with baby A and all was well. most of my swords get their beauty shot on the rail with the lake behind them, it's just that pretty.

Thanks to you Tom, I shall be purchasing this same sword once I eventually acquire the money.i have LONG been in love with Crusader 'type' swords and this one by FAR exceeds my expectations and fantasies of a perfect Crusader. I will be needing the sheath as well so I will have to 'super-save'. Though I do ask your permission to steal your pommel design as I have fallen in love with the Cross inlay on the round pommel. Also, I would ask for recommendations on a different color scheme......the pure red is too bright to me and doesn't do it for me. Something darker would be preferable. Thanks for the amazing post, I'll be giving you +5 Karma once I figure out how. Thanks again.

Redcoat, thanks for the love on this review. I tell you the sword is good enough that it basically wrote its own review; all I had to do was snap pictures and gush about how much I love it.
I will PM you in a minute with some info I think you will find valuable.
if you esre to give me karma all ou ave to do is click the "Exalt" link at the bottom of my info to the left of any of my posts. you can only give one karma per half hour or so. if you really want to throw 5 my way, thank you, but one is more than enough. it's all up to you.

Just a heads-up... I heard there's one of the triple-fuller versions of this blade heading to CFs. I think it will be hilted as the middle priced Maker's Mark line.
Just sayin', in case anyone wants one of these as a "pretty performance cutter."
