I've got some old curved axe handles at my disposal now, and the blade of a Cold Steel Kukri. So, what if I where to mount the kukri on the axe handle, morphing it into some odd short faux-naginata? I'm a little afraid to do so, as I'm notoriously clumsy and I have infamously bad luck when it comes to these little projects. (and I have the multiple burn scars to prove it!)

I'll probably end up just boring a slot into the handle and pegging the blade in standard naginata-style. If I don't lose an arm, I'll try to get some pictures up when it's done.

That would probably create an insane chopper.

Actually, I can't say that it's a bad idea. Just take your time with it.

Is it a kukri machete? Or the real thing?
I was kicking this idea around in my head as a counter-sword weapon. Cool that your are making it!

Depends on the curvature of the axe handles, would you mount them in a vertical or horizontal positon, a slightly raised horizontal might prove interesting, a khukuri scythe could be extremely effective.

Allright, so I'm finish with the basics. I have the blade secured tightly, just gimme a few days to put on all the bells and whistles and I'll get a review up.
