Hi guys! I placed the order for my first real actual sword yesterday! I decided to go with the Gen2 Brian Boru Sword. I'm practically hopping up and down in giddy excitement-I'll do a review when I can get my hands on it. Oh, happy day...

*nostalgic* Ah, the very first sword, nothing will ever be better than that one. You just can't go wrong with Gen2. I'm looking forward to your review on it.

Nice choice Samurai Knight. I wish I could experience the happiness you'll feel when you unwrap that beauty, clean off the goo it will be covered in, and swing it for the first time. OH HAPPY DAY INDEED!

You're lucky, i am still deciding on my first sword, so i can make sure i get one that is elegant, fairly inexpensive and hold up beautifully. The brian boru is quite an exquisite weapon, are you intending to use it or just display it?

I love that tip to, though I'll going to contradict kriegschwert saying that only the type XI deserves this type of tip
