A while back I got a Han Jian from Garrett. While I was happy with it, the tip had broken off during a flex test. Garrett was not happy with the news and insisted that he get me a replacement.
The replacement arrived yesterday, and so far I am highly impressed.
Here's the links to my videos where I give my first impressions:
I plan on making a more formal review soon, but for now, I hope you guys will be entertained with this.
It looks like another winner from Garrett.

Good review, good sound track. Is that like an office or something?

what are the stats on that piece? Custom built, Han jian design. Steel type: 1095 high carbon mono-steel blade. Blade length: 32 inches. Point of Balance: about 5 inches from where the blade emerges from the hand guard. Sword weight: 2lbs, 5oz. Keep in mind that some of these measurements are approximate. I'll try to have the actual statistics later in the formal review. (update: The formal review is up, and I corrected a couple of the measurements here to reflect what I found out and stated in the review.)

Did you get to keep the defective one? If so, would you sell it?
